Founded in 1897, Scotch College is one of Western Australia’s leading schools for boys and enjoys a tradition of excellence and innovation in the West Australian community. In 2020, it was recognised that a refreshed, compelling campaign was required to reaffirm and communicate the Scotch College offer.

Position

Scotch College has always had a tradition of innovation and leadership with a base culture of the community working towards a common goal – what’s best for the boys. Scotch is unique with its choice of pathway and their Approaches to Learning Framework/ Curriculum. The ATL curriculum future proofs boys for the adaptability, tenacity, perseverance, creativity, problem solving, collaboration and resilience for the changing world of tomorrow.

Scotch College place equal importance on how boys learn and what they learn. We developed creative to powerfully communicate the benefits of a cognitive curriculum approach. Bold statements that talk directly to nurtures communication, self-management, research, thinking and social skills. In other words we focus on their approach to learning.

PLAN / Implement

The new creative was applied to full-page press and the Scotch College website and Facebook page. The creative will be applied to further communications throughout 2020. So far, the campaign has been positively received by alumni, parents, and teaching staff of the school.
