Wine obsessed mates Tony (known as Snake) and Redmond (known as Herring) approached braincells seeking an innovative branding strategy to launch their new venture, Snake and Herring.
Their mission was clear, they wanted to create a wine package that stood out from the crowd.
The label is a whimsical representation of Snake and Herring flying in a grape balloon across West Australia in search of remarkable grapes. The full bleed illustration is highly detailed with a storybook quality to the finish. The top tier wine label is more refined, focusing on the balloon itself. The label is embellished with coloured foil, hi-build varnish and two detailed silk screens.

Snake and Herring launched in late 2011. The branding was rolled out across a range of collateral including point of sale, promotional materials and an interactive website which can be viewed here.
