braincells have been working with Anchor Foods since 2002 on their suite of food and beverage brands, offering a total marketing solution from strategy to design to advertising. In recent years braincells were asked to develop a new brand identity for Lighthouse Flour.

A new packaging design along with a national press campaign helped to launch Lighthouse as a specialty flour range to take advantage of the consumer trend of ‘scratch baking’.

Since then the brand has developed even further with the continuing demand and interest in cooking and baking from a wider target market, whilst still always maintaining a traditional and heritage feel.

Bread & Pizza special purpose flour has been hugely successful and popular with the ever growing number of consumers interested in making pizzas at home, from scratch in their wood fired ovens. To target and connect with this audience a social networking site was recently developed as a space where people who are passionate about pizzas can share tips and knowledge and exchange ideas and recipes. This is proving to be a hugely popular and successful medium. A Lighthouse recipe book is also currently under development and soon to be released .
